Duval Street Key West - Bars and Nightlife

Duval Street in Key West is one of the most popular tourist attractions to see. On Duval Street, you will find Ernest Hemingway home and museum, the Key West Aquarium and the Southern Most Point of the continent. These attractions are popular enough on their own, however, Duval Street is known for another type of tourist attraction; bars. The street is blocked off from cars, so, you can easily walk Duval Street and enjoy the sights.

Sloppy Joe's Bar was Hemingway's preferred stop. The bar officially opened the day that Prohibition was appealed. You can buy a drink here and also grab a bite to eat.


Flying Monkey's Saloon 227 Duval Street

Flying Monkey's is where you grab a frozen libation. The bar offers frozen cocktails from frozen beverage machines that you can order then drink while you peruse Duval Street.

The Smallest Bar really is small, only 72 square feet. Come here to grab a rum runner and imbibe outside. It was formerly known as the old Custom's House Inn.
